About Us

As experts in infectious diseases, we are called upon regularly to diagnose and treat very difficult and complex issues involving bacterial, viral, and other infections. While much of our work is done in the hospitals, we staff and maintain an outpatient clinic to help manage the care of those discharged from the hospital, as well as other patients referred to us by physicians in the tri-state area. We now offer the benefit of an outpatient infusion center where patients can receive needed IV antibiotics, biologics, and other infusion services for extended periods.

Our physicians are also available to assist those traveling to foreign countries with the appropriate vaccinations and instructions for protecting oneself in those lands.

Making an Appointment

Here’s a brief, three-step process to use to schedule an appointment with us in our outpatient facility at 1903 Broadway, Paducah, KY 42001:

If you are an existing patient, simply call (270) 444-9889 for an appointment.

If you have not been seen in our clinic before or within the last three years, a referral is needed from your primary care or medical physician. The referring physician can contact our office to refer (faxed referrals are not accepted without an initial call) and fax any pertinent documentation. Forms to be completed prior to arrival can be found here.

Upon receipt of that referral, our Registered Nurse will review the case with one of our physicians, call your physician for additional details if needed, and finally contact your physician with the scheduled appointment.

Ask your doctor if a referral to

Infectious Diseases Associates

is right for you!
